Lions are serving safely in communities around the world.
When the world is in need, Lions respond. During this time of great uncertainty, Lions are helping people meet their basic needs and providing hope for a better tomorrow.
Kindness on the front line.
Lions in San Mateo County sought to donate an abundance of N95 masks. Yet, when informed that the greater need was for surgical masks, they moved quickly and donated 2,000 surgical masks to medical professionals on the front line of the pandemic.
The foundation of kindness.
With a US$10,000 grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), Lions in India collaborated with the Lion Tarachand Bapa Hospital to distribute 1,100 personal protective equipment kits, 1,500 N95 masks, 1,000 pieces of 3-ply masks, and 500 sanitizer bottles.

Storied kindness.
Aware of the power of storytelling and the importance of feeling connected in difficult times, one Lions club in England set up online storytimes for local children and parents.
Connected through kindness.
To help residents in senior assisted living centers stay connected to loved ones during times of visitor restrictions, one Lions club in Iceland donated tablets and headphones.
Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion.
For every incredible Lions service project, there are hundreds more just like it—filled with kind-hearted individuals volunteering their time to better our communities. Lions represent the best in all of us. Being part of a Lions club means having the opportunity to do something truly special: selflessly serve others.
